  3. You'll see the upcoming games. Each one shows its price — or Free

Reserve your spot

  1. Open the game and tap the button to reserve your spot
  2. Free game? Your spot is confirmed right away
  3. Paid game? You pay to confirm your spot

Free games, and games you pay the host for, ask for your phone number — the host needs a way to reach you on the day.

One spot per person. You book your own spot with your own email, and on free games everyone coming has to book themselves. It keeps the roster honest about who is actually turning up. Some paid games let you add a guest spot once you have booked — if it is available, you will see it on the game page.

By reserving you confirm you are 18+ (or a parent or guardian consenting for a minor) and you agree to the Player Waiver — you play at your own risk, including negligence.

3

The game is full

On the game page, tap join the waitlist. What happens next depends on the game:

Free game. Nothing else to do. When a spot opens, the first person on the waitlist goes straight in — we book it for you and email you to say you're playing.

Paid game. When a spot opens we email everyone on the waitlist at the same time. Whoever books first gets it, so open it as soon as you see it.

Either way, joining a waitlist costs nothing.

Never miss your weekly game

If you play the same game every week, you don't have to book it every week.

  1. Put some money in your Wallet
  2. Open the game and turn on Auto-RSVP
  3. We book your spot for each new date and take it from your wallet

Turn it off any time from the same place. If your wallet runs low we stop booking and tell you, so you are never charged for a game you didn't want.

Vote for the MVP and earn rewards

After a game you can vote for the player who deserved it.

  • Voting opens after the final whistle and closes on a countdown, so vote while you remember it
  • You earn Jogxz for voting, and more for winning MVP
  • Jogxz are a bit of fun and recognition on your profile — they are not money and can't be cashed out

Friends and the group chat

  • Friends: use Invite on your profile to add someone. Your friends list lives in your profile.
  • WhatsApp group: many hosts run one for their city. When there is one, the link is on the game page — that is where the last-minute "we need one more" messages happen.

Your team colours and the city leaderboard

Cancelling, refunds and your wallet

How do I cancel a game?

  1. Log in with the email you booked with
  2. Tap Profile and open the game
  3. Tap Cancel

No Cancel button? You're not logged in.

Cancel as early as you can, so someone on the waitlist can take your spot.

Every game has its own rules, set by the host — how late you can still cancel, and what happens to what you paid. Games usually lock a few hours before kickoff. The host's description on the game page is where to look, and if it isn't spelled out there, message the host before you book. Player Waiver · Cancellation policy

Tap Cancel on the game page as early as you can. If you paid on JoGo.Team, by card or with your JoGo Wallet, the game's price is credited to your JoGo Wallet for your next game. Some paid games have a no-refund deadline, set by the host a few hours before kickoff, and the game page shows it before you pay. If you cancel after that deadline, your spot is freed but nothing is credited. If you paid the host directly, in cash or by transfer, that money is between you and the host. If the host removes you from the game, what you paid on JoGo.Team is credited to your JoGo Wallet, even after the deadline. If the host cancels the whole game, the host can credit what you paid on JoGo.Team to your JoGo Wallet; if you don't see it, ask the host. If the game is free, there is nothing to pay back.

Refunds — your money comes back as wallet credit

If you paid online and your cancellation goes through, the money comes back to you as credit in your JoGo.Team Wallet.

Free game? There was nothing to pay, so your spot is simply released. Paid the host directly at the location? That money never passed through us — sort it out with the host.

  • It never expires
  • It works on any game, in any city
  • Your next booking is one tap — no card, no waiting

Tap Wallet at the bottom of the screen to see your balance.

Some paid games have a no-refund deadline, set by the host a few hours before kickoff. The game page shows it next to the Reserve button. Cancel after it and your spot is freed, but nothing is credited.

How do I add money to my wallet?

  1. Tap Wallet at the bottom of the screen
  2. Tap Add Funds

Handy if you play often — booking is one tap instead of a card payment every time.

The host cancelled the game

Rain, low turnout and field problems happen. If the host cancels the whole game and you paid online, the host can credit what you paid to your JoGo Wallet; if you don't see it, ask the host. If you paid the host directly, they are the one who returns it.

If the host removes you from a game, what you paid online goes back to your JoGo Wallet, even after the no-refund deadline.

The host is the one who decides what happens with their game, so message them from the game page if you want to sort out something different.

What if I don't show up?

That is between you and your host. A no-show costs the host, who counted on you, and it blocks someone on the waitlist who would have played, so most hosts treat it as the spot being used — no credit back.

Life happens, though. If something genuinely got in the way, send your host a quick message. Any exception is their call to make, not ours.

Can I get it on my card instead?

Most people don't bother — the credit never expires and using it on a game is instant. If you'd rather have the money on your card, open Wallet and tap Withdraw to original payment method at the bottom of the page.

It covers card payments for games you cancelled, there is a minimum, and it takes 5–10 business days to reach your statement. The page walks you through the rest.

Your account and the app

How do I log in?

  1. Tap Log in at the bottom of the screen
  2. Type the email or phone number you signed up with
  3. Tap Email me a login link
  4. Open the email and tap the button inside — you're in

There's no password to remember. The link works for 15 minutes, then you ask for a new one. If you have ever booked a game, you already have an account — use the email you booked with.

I didn't get the login email

  • Check your spam or junk folder — that's where it is most of the time
  • Make sure you typed the same email you signed up with. A different address means a different account
  • Ask for a new link — the old one stops working after 15 minutes
  • Search your inbox for JoGo.Team in case it was filed away

Still nothing? Message us and we'll get you in.

Do I need an account?

You already have one. We create your account for you the moment your booking is confirmed, using the email you booked with — there is no registration form to fill in.

To cancel a game or see your bookings you just need to be logged in:

  • Your booking confirmation email has a button that takes you straight in
  • Or tap Log in, enter that same email, and we send you a link

It costs nothing. Individual games may have a price, set by the host — JoGo.Team itself never does.

Was this helpful?

Can I get JoGo.Team as an app on my phone?

The app is the same JoGo.Team, on your home screen — find games and book without opening a browser. It's free to install.

What you agree to when you play

Pickup football is a contact sport played on public and rented pitches. Every player accepts the same terms before they take a spot.

When you reserve, you confirm that you are 18 or older — or a parent or guardian booking for a minor — and you accept the Player Waiver: you play at your own risk, including negligence. JoGo.Team connects players and hosts; it does not supervise, coach or referee the game, and it is not the owner of the pitch.

Hosts set the price, the format and the rules of their own game. Injuries, lost property and disputes on the day are between the players and the host.

How do I delete my account?

  1. Tap Profile, scroll down to Settings
  2. Tap Delete my account — the red option at the bottom
  3. We email you a link. Tap Confirm deletion in that email to finish

You'll be logged out and have 30 days to change your mind — just log back in before then and your account stays exactly as it was.

If you host games, cancel or hand over your upcoming games first.

  1. In your Host Dashboard, scroll to Getting paid
  2. Tap Set up card payments and follow the steps

You keep 100% of your price

Whatever you charge is what lands in your bank. We don't take a cut and we don't bill you monthly. Players cover a small booking fee at checkout.

You set the price $7.00
You receive $7.00
Player pays $8.03
booking fee $1.03
→ Visa / Mastercard $0.53
→ JoGo.Team $0.50

Card companies charge a fee on every card payment, everywhere — that part isn't ours. What's left is what keeps JoGo.Team running.

Your price You get Player pays
$5.00$5.00$5.97
$7.00$7.00$8.03
$10.00$10.00$11.12
$12.00$12.00$13.18
$15.00$15.00$16.27
$20.00$20.00$21.93

What it costs you to host here

  • ●Nothing per month — one game a year or five a week, same price
  • ●Nothing out of your price — the fee sits on top and the player pays it
  • ●Nothing to start — no setup fee, no card on file, no contract, no minimum
  • ●Nothing to file — where sales tax applies we work it out, collect it and send it to the state

Stop chasing people for $7.00. Set your price, and players pay before they show up.

It is about a dollar on a normal game and players see it before they pay. Most would rather pay a dollar than owe you money on the day.

Shown in US dollars. Other currencies work the same way.

  • Free goalkeepers (11v11): tick Keepers play free and goalkeepers book without paying. It's the hardest position to fill — this fills it.

Set the rules for your own games

You decide how your game runs — how late a player can pull out, what happens if they don't show, and anything else you expect of them.

  1. Write your rules into the game Description when you create it, so every player reads them before they book
  2. In your Host Dashboard you can also save a default under Custom cancellation policy

Players are told to check your description and to message you if anything is unclear — so the clearer you write it, the fewer questions you get on the day.
